Everyone participating must attend briefings thirty minutes before starting time. All meetings are to be held
at: Rua Miguel Bombarda 29 Praia Santiago Cape Verde unless otherwise indicated.

You are expected to carry all your equipment. If you need to bring more than you can carry special
arrangements will be necessary. You are also expected to carry your own water. As mentioned elsewhere we
recommend bottled water use only. These come in plastic containers of 1/2 litters. A  minimum of 1 bottle for
1/2 day or 2 bottles for full day is required. As a precautionary measure guides carry double the amount.

Topics addressed in the briefing are:
Common to all trips:
Weather, Itinerary, Trek Conditions, Distance, Rhythm and Pace, and Rest and Water Stops.
Pertaining to specific trips:
Wildlife, Botanical Garden, Historical Sites, Village Visiting, Children, Music, Traditional Dances, Ethnic Food,
Photography, Landscape and Rock Formations apply to specific trips only and will be addressed accordingly.

You can choose one or more of these highlights to include in your particular trip.
